Hawkgirl and the Fall of Byth

This is a 3D sculpture of Hawkgirl defeating Byth, created in Blender during my YouTube livestreams.
In this piece, Hawkgirl is represented as Shayera Hol, the iconic DC superheroine from the Silver Age of comics. Originating from Thanagar, she served as a Thanagarian police officer, later joining the Justice League and eventually becoming known as Hawkwoman. She stands victorious over Byth, a recurring Thanagarian villain who uses his ability of metamorphosis to battle her.
Both characters are placed on a custom base featuring twin hawk statues and ornamental details inspired by Thanagarian culture, reinforcing the mythic and ceremonial tone of the scene.
The overall composition is inspired by the famous Renaissance painting Saint Michael Vanquishing Satan by Raphael, a work that has been reinterpreted by many artists throughout history, including Guido Reni. Drawing from this classical influence, I aimed to portray a defeated Byth suffering and pleading for mercy despite transforming into a monstrous form to intimidate while Hawkgirl embodies a balance between fragility and strength, standing firm as a symbol of justice.
